The County is looking for responsible Midcoast residents to help in reviewing residential planning applications for compliance with specific planning and architectural standards. Application information Coastside Design Review CommitteeThe purpose of the CDRC is to help insure that projects on the Coastside meet a minimum set of community sensibilities. These "community sensibilities" are defined in a 31 page midcoast design guidelines booklet: The decision of the voting committee members is actually just a recommendation to the Planning Department. The Coastside Design Review Standards and Committee are something the MCC pushed for and achieved over 10 years ago. Committee members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. --- Read Excerpts from Midcoast Design Review Standards |
