The MCC's Planning and Zoning Committee ("P&Z") developed
this checklist.
This Project Planning checklist is an attempt to translate lessons learned through
MCC efforts working with active community participation over the years in reviewing
projects in the planning phase into a checklist. The intent is to foster a clearer
dialog between stakeholders earlier in the planning and building process and surface
issues earlier.
This is a formal public comment period starting 12 June 2007 and ending 12 July 2007
after which the document, with any revisions, will be sent to San Mateo County Staff
for further consideration in specific Planning & Buidling process steps as they relate
to development on the Midcoast. During this period any Midcoast community member
(neighbor, realtor, architect, builder, etc) has the opportunity to speak up and
provide feedback.
